What are the most common questions parents have about ordering school lunches from Ellesmere Kitchen?
This varies, but often includes questions about menu options, dietary requirements, ordering deadlines, and pick-up procedures. Students and Teachers from Ellesmere College pick their lunch order up from the school canteen. Leeston School get their lunches delivered. Ordering deadlines is 9am any order made after 9am will be automatically moved to the following day. Dietary requirements you can find information in our Dietary Information page.

Our online ordering system is designed for ease of use. It allows us sufficient time to prepare lunches for both Leeston Consolidated School and Ellesmere College. It means parents can go to work or enjoy their day knowing their child is getting fed. Visit our How to Order page for a step-by-step guide.
Why do I have to fill out the order details page before checking out?
This form gives us extra assurance that you or your child will be receiving the right meal. As we are no longer using the previous ordering system we have had to re-design and think of new ways that will work for everyone. You can also add the details to the 'remarks' section at the checkout for even more assurance. We hope that this works for you and we are happy to help navigate you through it. Your child's well-being is our top priority. Any issues with the lunches made, we are always happy to negotiate a solution. The safety of my food and food prep is always done in a clean kitchen, and food is brought fresh daily or used within the best before date.
